Fake in the way that these are not living in the wild. They live in a cage, in the ocean in captivity. She seems like more of a free diver getting attention.
I don't quite get the whole "female form tames EVERYTHING" from wild beasts to alien species approach. Seems kinda egotistical to me. And its how you get the "When Animals Attack" moments. In the article it wasn't so much the female form as the scientist were thinking that the whales didn't like the feel of synthetic materials like wet suits touching them. So in other words Belugas like it bareback.
