Justified shooting. Good quick reaction by Green to grab Bushey around the arms so he couldn't aim his gun and by Griffin to push him. Sucks somebody lost his life, but he made his decisions. No mention whether or not he was intoxicated, but that's no justification for Bushey's actions. Doesn't matter it was a pellet gun, either.
Justified shooting of course. Is this really considered suicide by cop? Seems more like a criminal who wanted to fight back then die.
Luckily that idiot didn't pull that stunt inside the restaurant with all those innocent people inside. I would have shot him too if he pulled out a weapon like that
stay bloody, my friends. Just one decision, maybe not steal the night or stay home and not go out and the guy is still alive.
What a dumbass. There are a lot of different reasons to give as to why he pulled out a pellet gun as he is being arrested, thus causing himself to be shot to death, but really there is only one verifiable reason - he is...errrrrr....was a dumbass.
I thought police usually put handcuffs on the suspect right away? Or is that a small town suspect given the benefit of the doubt.
Those body cams are a great tool to see what occurred at the scene of the crime. Pretty soon there will be no need for CSI. I have a feeling if that other officer wasn't with the lady cop she would've been dead. She also didn't look like she was in top shape. Her reaction time is ridiculously slow. It took her 3-4 seconds to pull out her gun after the guy fell to the ground from the other officer's 8 bullets. She was probably in a state of shock when the gun appeared and couldn't control herself. You could tell this by her trying to "dodge" the guy instead of pulling out her gun and shooting him. Also why was she walking in the front of the guy? Talk about not following protocols.
Holy ****ing **** that guy got executed Why in the hell didn't the cops cuff him or ask him if he had weapons on him? Why wasn't he frisked and why was he given so much space? I don't get these procedures. Edit I didn't see the video great on my phone at first. Certainly a justified shooting after the gun came out, but I don't understand the police procedures here at all.
Agreed, they made a mistake in that regard but perhaps wanted to courteously walk out the restaurant without making too much of a scene. And perhaps they didn't expect something like that to happen in relation to theft.
