This is very true. But really, all this thread does is make me appreciative of the fact that, one way or another, the administration whose supporters are represented by this kind of thread are on their way out. Their time has passed.
We can start by not feeding the trolls in here, namely Trader_Jorge and Texx. They post garbage, insult legitimate candidates for the highest office in the nation not on policy issues but the fact that they are part African American and have names that are of middle eastern descent (Balack Hussein Osama Ubama, etc), and worst of all never answer anyone directly when confronted on their bull crap, just post more straw men (at best) or just poof out when called on their crap. They don't "debate or discuss" anything just fling poo and run. They are cowards and should be ignored by those on the right and the left on this board. This place used to be a place to post some serious questions, coupled with impassioned responses that at times was very thought provoking with the rare moron flinging crap across the discussion in an effort to derail a thread because they had nothing of substance to say. Now it is so mired in garbage that I barely come in here anymore.
I was smart to reserve judgment on this issue. It appears as though after the 1st expert's results came in, deception by Larry Sinclair was indicated. The 2nd expert's results are not in yet. Conclusive results are not yet in anyone's hands, but early results indicate that Mr Sinclair may have been lying. The amusing part of this is that it should be fun to watch all the libs who dismissed the legitimacy of the polygraph now embrace it with open arms, lol. Looking forward to the 2nd set of results...

I once took a polygraph test for a job in the very early 1970's. I didn't tell the truth about a particular subject, passed with flying colors, and got the job. At the time, I was into transcendental meditation. Found a spot on the wall and concentrated on it. Let the questions become part of the "background noise." Since the questions were answered with a yes or a no, it wasn't hard to respond, even is a somewhat trance-like state. I don't know if I could do it today, since I'm so out of practice, but hell yes... you can beat them. All of that doesn't matter. This guy is, with all respect due to the guy, a loon. I won't argue that with you. It could help, however, if excellent members like you were still part of the conversation. Having said that, I understand. Sometimes, I feel the same way. There are times I seriously wonder why I put myself through the stress that can be involved. This forum, at least for me, has always been a place I visited for fun and intellectual stimulation. You may not have been around long enough to understand T_J's MO. 1. He posts inflammatory garbage. 2. People get upset and call him on it. 3. He escalates, incorporating classic tactics such as the strawman. 4. People get more upset and insult him personally. 5. He reports their posts, tells everyone about it and cries about how persecuted he is. We are at step 4 1/2 (if he hasn't reported your post already). My point is if you have a response, have some substance behind it and keep it civil. Otherwise you will fall into his trap and may even get banned. Just some friendly advise.
