I don't see how Keep D&D Civil has anything to do with politics? Especially when there are several religious and other controversial issues debated here. But I'm not Clutch or the D&D enforcer, just making a point - feel free to continue as you like.

I could care less if the guy quotes other politicians. He's quoted JFK, MLK, and others. That's great. I don't care at all if a president gets elected that does that.

Since the other claim you made is pure garbage at this point, there is no point in responding.

I don't care about the speeches as long as it's legit, and I don't care about the "dude" part. If there is legitimate evidence that he's cheating on his wife or gets high on crack, please go find it - that would definitely be a huge negative for me. I would guess in that scenario, he would quickly lose the race, if not simply withdraw.

There is no way a candidate gets this far and has this much money invested into them if they have these kinds of skeletons in their closet. You don't get this far without being investigated to the ends of the earth. There is a ton of money on the line with these elections. Not only that, I have a feeling that if it was even remotely legit that the news stations and sites would be having the circle jerk of the century. I'd bet serious money that this has no legs.

Absolutely - this is just the T_J/bigtexxx "nothing else we're saying is sticking" desperation tactic. It has no more credibility than the McCain smear site:

    http://www.vietnamveteransagainstjohnmccain.com/

Different topic, but both are pushed by the loonies on each side. No one worth listening to gives these things any credibility - which tells you a lot about our resident twins.

It's already happening. Just imagine if/when Obama gets the Dem nod and ends up leading McCain in, say, August. How bad will the smears get?

I'm already finding sites that claim he was in a mental hospital at the time he claims this. As major said also, this story isn't new. so today on my employer's network i've searched for bi sexuals and obama, opened naked pictures of lohan, and slutty cheerleaders.

I thought we were cleaning this place up.

lol! Nice. So bigtexxx and TJ are so desperate to smear Obama that they put forward a poor mentally unstable person as their only piece of evidence? That's hilarious.

So what happens if this guy passes the polygraph test? Would this change anyone's opinion of the story?

Mentally ill folks could definitely pass a polygraph and have their story be completely false.

"It's not a lie if you believe it." He has to have at least one other person vouch for him being the kind of guy who in 1999 had a limo and hang out at "upscale lounges." If he's exposing himself to the public, he should also explain how he went from that to being disabled and living in an assisted living housing project in Minnesota.

Actually, FranchiseBlade, the odds of passing a lie detector test when you are lying is incredibly low. As low as 1 in 10,000.

So if this guy does pass a lie detector test, what happens here? Thoughts?

If the dude is mentally ill and he truly believes in this fairy tale, he may pass the test even though it never happened. You can't tell me that you can't comprehend this idea.

Not if the person is insane and believes it to be true. The lie detector test can't be used as evidence in a court because of how unreliable it is, and certainly a lie detector test on a patient in a mental hospital would be even less reliable.

Does someone have proof that Sinclair is mentally ill?

Lie detectors are extremely reliable, regardless of their permissability in court. The guy says he has corraborating evidence, including an alibi and receipts and whatnot. That is permissable in a court of law.

This is a game changer, if true.

This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. I can't believe that anybody believes this is true.
