I seriously doubt this. Bush and Cheney were the scumbaggiest f***s that ever darkened the White House. As a Republican character says in the movie "Game Changer", "How does Cheney eat while wearing that Darth Vader mask?" I do feel sorry for someone who tried to do the right thing, but blaming it personally on whoever's President is, well, understandable, but misguided. You can't name one President who isn't paranoid about protecting the status quo.
