Well, as close as you can get without using the word enemy. This is nutty. (I'm glad to see my church on the list.)
Scary. Spoiler <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/iowahawk_blog/8439001894/" title="bang by Iowahawk Blog, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8353/8439001894_d10cc6bf00.jpg" width="278" height="419" alt="bang"></a>
I think it's great that celebrities voice their opinions as Americans. I cannot fathom why any odd includes them in a list that is supposed to be persuasive or authoritative. There is no good reason why Art Garfunkel's opinion on this matters any more than mine does. As for the corporate list, you may want to think twice before becoming political bedfellows with James Nutter. I suspect that would oppose his company's views on other political/economic issues.
Every political Organization has a list like that. Big deal. Horrible gun tragedy. http://www.wxyz.com/dpp/news/man-shot-near-martin-luther-king-jr-high-school-in-detroit
I'm kind of confused; these lists are on the NRA site to show how many good citizens and organizations are in support of common sense gun control legislation that the NRA opposes? Or is this their way giving rabid gun nuts the tools to harass these same Americans from exercising their right to be safe from unrestricted guns killing them?
you liberals toss around the word 'right' without the slightest clue what it means. You just slap 'right' in your argument and call it a day. It is offensive to those who have fought for real individual rights (MLK, American soldiers, etc...) . 'right to be safe from unrestricted guns killing them'? what the hell does that even mean?
nope. why don't you explain this 'right to be safe from unrestricted guns killing them'. Do I have the right to be safe from unrestricted laundry baskets killing me as well?
It is a bit odd to see Andy Williams on there as well, seeing as he is no longer with us. I suspect the list just predates his death though.
