I went to Neogaf and saw the first post, numbers were updated in the thread but not on the original post. I am use to system wars, gamespot forum, where we update the first post.
NeoGAF definitely updates the first post, and usually does it pretty often. Like I said, I guess he might have included software sales figures in later on (although not sure why he skipped them), although I could have sworn they were in. Hardware sales were definitely edited in within a few hours I think. It was initially just 360 sales (plus software rankings...and maybe sales for a couple, but I don't remember). Usually 4-5 edits made to the OP within the first ~6 hours or so, filling out hardware and software sales that get posted later on. (I don't know where I'm going with this.)
Oops sorry you're right, I meant gametrailers. I was reading their thread there and never actually looked at neogaf for the updates.
Unfortunately the repetitiveness returns in the sequel, which is the most damning thing about it. Sucker Punch dropped the ball on this. They hadbetter graphics and added User Generated Content (which sucked when I played it, but might better now), but they still had poorly designed and repetitive gameplay missions and an overly simplistic morality system.
Oh that makes sense. Wouldn't trust those GameTrailers forums. Actually, I'll reveal a secret. I have more than one account, and I used this thread as a way to carry on a conversation...with myself. Now...how many other accounts do I have, and who might they be? Spoiler Of course, I'm kidding. I think. Maybe I should create a GUI interface using Visual Basic. That way I could trace the IP. edit: Back on topic.... More sales. Of the bomb variety. Shadows of the Damned sold 24K. Seriously. Child of Eden sold 34K. I wasn't even aware when Shadows of the Damned was coming out until I realized it had already been out for a little while. That might have been part of the problem.
