Dirk Nowitzki finished with 32 points on 12-for-19 shooting from the floor in Game 3 against the Lakers.

Nowitzki feasted on Pau Gasol offensively as 27 of his 32 points came while being guarded by Gasol.

Nowitzki is 19-of-25 from the floor for 45 points against Gasol this series.

    Another reason for a sweep.

Yup. He sized Pau up pretty good, thereby eliminating his length. Pau just isn't aggressive enough right now.

They had to make Odom the starter and make this his primary job, what's the use of having Artest in the starting line-up when he can't defend the stud from the other team, Gasol can't do no worse when defending an aging Marion.

bad match up phil. I wonder how yao will match against him. You dont put a center on a PF/SF scoring machine.

^^^ Good lord what are you Pau Gasol's father. Pau Gasol is a PF who can play Center not the other way around.

Considering Bynum is outplaying Gasol I guess Phil should just bench him all together.

What is your excuse for Gasol's pathetic display on offense?

Change that ESPN channel more often. The whole year he's been saying he needs the ball more. All of a sudden here Pau carry us to another championship eventhough the whole seasn Kobe hogged it up.

McGrady and the bad Bowen used to give the guy trouble. You'd think Pau could do something.

Hold on, we're comparing apples to oranges here.

    Dirk didn't get dumped recently.

Gasol is soft ass-cry baby. His play is really annoying, he acts like a p***y every timeout...

Amazing what can happen when one of the Lakers bigs actually have to defend a big that's a prime-time scorer (Howard in 09 doesn't count). It just goes to show you how weak the bigs are today. This is the first series in 3 years that the Lakers have to face a big that can really score. Now look at all the high scoring bigs from the 90's (Hakeem, Robinson, Shaq, Malone, Barkley).
