Well I like JVG (less each passing day)

But I told my kids last week, we must suck it up and be smart-
    1. sit Yao (protect from injury)
    2. to help lose games

What is wrong with a pro sports franchise out of the playoffs jockying for draft position?

I don't like all that we are going to play to win stuff.

This is a business and the higher draft pick you get the better.

JVG- you should be trying to get us up in the lottery, that is your job.

Didn't you know that JVG told Okur to kick Yao in the foot, the reason he did that was because Yao had begged not to play last nite.....

It's idiotic to blame JVG for Yao's injury. That still doesn't change the fact that Van Crummy is an average coach with a below average personality. Fire the S.O.B.!

Man, this feels like a Middle Ages. This stupidity goes beyond reasonable. Give people guillotine here and and you'll have JVG's head served on a plate..

Agreed. The other obvious question is how Yao's ankle sprain caused a fracture in his foot. I don't see the connection.

Yao sells no tickets when he is out because of injury.

Absolutely agree. JVG should have shut down Yao at the beginning of this month, if not sooner.

Why not just never play Yao if we're taking such a big risk? Jeez.

I don't know about Hoopsworld's credibility around here, but Bill "I pull things out of my ass" Ingram said that Les has been talking to Paul Silas and JVG is sure to get fired after the season. Personally, I think TMac will be very upset with something like this. Silas has a history of not getting along with many of his players.

The preseason is not meaningless. It's a time for getting to know the new team members, maybe learn some new plays, or (please, Les, make it happen) adjust to a new coach.

But why was Yao on the floor during a meaningless game? That was definitely JVG's fault.

Why is Wesley playing? Let's blame that on JVG too. Lets blame Houston traffic on JVG for that matter. And the Enron case, it's all JVG's fault.

You have to fight of course, but only when there's a good reason to do it. Playing Yao in a meaningless game is a bad idea.

Wesley is not nearly as important as Yao.

It is a contract year for Wesley. He is playing for himself.
