I thought it was alright. Probably because I didn't pay to see in in theaters though.

Never said I blamed him.

I just wasn't going to pay high cinema prices to see another crappy Cage movie.

I did like The Family man as well as The Weatherman.

A Bad Lieutenant remake unnecessary? You make Bad Lieutenant sad: Embedding Disabled.

Herzog/Cage just might be able to outweird Ferrara/Keitel, and Keitel's acting in that movie is the best I've ever seen.

Cage does one or two lowest common denominator-type movies to pay off the next island, then goes and makes his art. And he is an acting god.
[rquoter]"Did I ever tell ya that this here [yachts, a jet, a castle, over 50 cars, over a million dollars' worth of comic books, multiple (supposedly haunted) mansions in New Orleans, two Bahamanian islands, shrunken heads that may or may not have been human, and, famously, a $500k Lamborghini once owned by the Shah of Iran... $276,000 on a dinosaur skull in a "heated auction with Leonardo DiCaprio."... antidote serum on his wall for the poison of his two King Cobras... Cage's pet octopus...] represents a symbol of my individuality, and my belief in personal freedom?"
    "About fifty thousand times."[/rquoter]

He's not a bad actor but that hair is what bothers me the most about him. I understand that you want to have plugs and what not, but at least grow some damn sideburns.

Lord of War was good, and I love the National Treasure movies.

One of my favorite movies, probably top 15.

Then again, The Rock is in my top 5.

The very pinnacle of his career. Too bad it was the first movie he ever made.

The lesson I take from that is a good director can get a good performance out of him. But, most of the movies he makes aren't exactly focused on the acting.

Octopi aren't expensive pets. You can get them for less than $100. The setup costs $600-$1000. Not exactly what I would consider exotic/high dollar.
