The losses still kill me, but I see a bright future ahead of us. There is chance that we will be very good in the near future, add to that the fact that we can offer a superstar a max contract and could land a decent draft pick makes the light at the end of the tunnel not look so far away.

Losing still sucks though. I would like to see a little more of the rookies play, that would be my only gripe.

I'm excited about this team's coaching staff.

The only things I would change are:
    A) Kept Dragic (player option or not)
    B) Got something for Scola (2nd rounder, anything)
    C) NEVER drafted White (trade down)

other than that I am very happy (overall we are as was on track for the 14th pick BUT better)

I love it. We have one star player who is young and cap space. That alone is better than what the other team had to offer.

I love the upside for this team.

    Lin
    Harden
    Parsons
    Asik

Talk about players that look to be getting a lot better every game!!!

I love it. Finally thinking long-term.

Might hurt now, but its way better for the long-run.

A(shhhh)i-que, amazing signing btw. Averaging a double-double and only 7ppg away from Howard!

Yes, in hindsight with the Harden trade, I think the Rockets might've matched Suns deal and keep Dragic. But at that time, I thought we should've just blown it up.

As for Scola, I'm 99% sure that wasn't possible. The Rockets needed the cap space to sign Asik(Lin and Dragic salary per year are basically wash). Based on the fact that the Suns got him for $3mil, obviously no one with capspace would've taken on that contract, even for nothing.

If Rockets track record, and it's a pretty long track record, is any indication, you'll be seeing them mid-way through the season. Either from Morey making deadline moves, or when injuries occur. If we go through the whole season without DMo or Jones playing a good chunk of rotation minutes, then I might be worried.

Happy with the team, it's a work in progress. I just wish the fans would give the team and the coaches the time they need to figure everything out before getting all hysterical about wins and losses. It's hard to bring a bunch of new young players together and immediately expect them to play like seasoned veterans.

This is the kind of team you get when they're this young. Veterans will out-wily them in close games, but every once in a while we'll beat great teams just out of sheer force of talent. The flashes are there, which is the only thing you need to see from a team this young, to legitimize staying the course and letting them develop.

I feel good. We are better than I thought we'd be at the beginning stages of a rebuild. You're going to see good basketball and you're going to see bad basketball. We are young and fans need to relax and show some patience.
