what's the point of this thread?

 

There are two points:

(1) To tell you that Chinese fans in this forum are unloyal fans. The first minute that they see another Chinese player better than Yao, they will defect to the new hot shot's team.

(2) To educate you that Chinese eat chow mein. He didn't go so far as to tell you whether the Chinese like chicken chow mein or beef chow mein more though.

Isn't it ironic that this is the same guy who cried in the Hangout about someone saying 'how are you' to him in Chinese not too long ago?

 

From what you say here alone, I am pretty sure you are a white male.

 

In any case, I'm sure many of what "YOFs" we may have here will probably follow the careers of both players and root for them both, along with whomever else they like in the league. I don't think traffic at CF.net will flag much. We may get a lot more Yi threads.

what the hell are yall talking about? chinese fans are fans of both yao and yi, who cares who plays better... as long as they both do well in the league. a lot fans like them because they are chinese, not because one plays better than the other. sure, at times they may favor one over another, but in the end of the day, they are still chinese. in the future when there are like 10+ chinese players in the league, that may be a different story. for now, i would be fan of both yao and yi as long as they are in the league
