Now that the Astros are out, what team would you prefer to win the series

    As for me, I am going to root for the Diamondbacks the rest of the way. Luis Gonzalez is a good guy, and now is a great player. I would love to see a guy like that win the ring. And Steve Finley, another hard-nosed player, is also a good guy.

    Go Arizona. Win it for Greg Swindell!

    A's or Braves.

    Definitely not the eYankees, Cardinals, Diamondbacks, or Mariners.

    Indians wouldn't bother me.

    The A's are the one team that needs to lose (I like them too). If they win, the Player's Association will have a field day with it during labor negotiations next month, claiming that they are proof that small/mid-market teams can compete just fine and there's no need for salary controls.

    If that happens, the Astros simply won't be able to keep their talent when competing with the New York's, Boston's, and LA's of the world.

    I would love the Mariners to win just to spite A-Rod and KGJr who both wanted to go somewhere that they "could win". Plus, it proves that you don't need stars to succeed.

    It would be nice to see Randy Johnson and Curt Schilling win and get a ring. Definitely would like to see Johnson get a ring since Seattle gave him and Griffey very little help while they were there. I'm rooting for Cleveland, it would be nice for them to get over the hump and finally get the monkey off their back and win a World Series. So I'm hoping for a Braves-Diamondbacks NLCS and an Indians-A'S LCS. I think the A's will finish off NY and will beat the winners of the Mariners/Indians series, and I'm starting to think the Braves will win the NL. So go Indians I guess! :)

    The Mariners deserve it more than any other team. They were the best team all season, and they should get the title to cap it off. The city of Seattle needs a championship in something. Go Mariners.

    I think i'll go for the Ex-astros (Daimondbacks) vs. Yankees in the world series....

    I sort of want Yankees to win because Mike Mussina is one of my favorite players, and he really deserves a world series win...

    I want to see the Yankees win it this year. I hope they have a big parade downtown, and it marches to the WTC. The city deserves something good like another world series title after what it's been through.

    I can't root for the Braves cause they beat the Astros.

    I can't root for the Cards cause they are in the same division as the Astros.

    I can't root for the D'Backs cause of Schilling and Johnson.

    I think it would be humorous to see Seattle win it. I don't understand why big name free agents want to leave this team in search of a championship. Ken Griffey and ARod left to improve their playoff chances (or so they wanted us to think it was something other than the money), and now Seattle is the strongest team in the league, even if they don't win the series this year. Oh well, I guess it really just is about the money for most of these guys.
