Sessions has fine shooting form. He will add consistency to his midrange jumper. This is the only part of his game left to develop. He doesn't shoot the 3 ball because he is so good at penetration, dishing, and finishing. He takes less than one-half a 3 point shot per game. What does that tell you? It tells me he is relentless getting in the paint and dishing and he only throws up a 3 ball to beat the buzzer.........which is probably at the end of one of the 4 quarters of each game when he happens to have to give it a heave. GIMME A BREAK ALREADY! He has been a more efficient scorer than Steve Nash was in Nash's first two seasons and I bet if we look at his scoring efficiency after 3 seasons and compare it to Nash's scoring efficiency, you will see Sessions undoubtedly ahead of Nash's 3 year scoring efficiency.
Earth to clutchfans. We don't have any money and our biggest asset is ????? No big names acomin' thissa way until POSSIBLY last second of trading deadline. Anything that happens is a wash this season without Yao anyway. Besides, as much as I like Sessions' game, Aaron Brooks is going to be a bargain. Retool elsewhere.
Its funny how any player can have a decent season who was over hyped by the media, and is a free agent should automatically be with the rockets. Morey can him in here we need him blah blah blah. Who is Sessions?? Who is Rubio?? What makes them sooooo special that they should be here?? If Sessions was that guy then why the hell is it taking him this long to sign an offer sheet. Makes you wonder huh. Rubio is sooooo special he isn't even playing with the big boys. He wants to be another Greek T-Mac or whatever his name was.
The day we trade Landry for Sessions with our current roster is the day that I punch Daryl Morey in the face.
It's because he's a restricted free agent. It's like the same situation as Josh Childress. It's more complicated when the original team can match. Nobody wants to make an offer and only to lose out on the player and any other players during the matching period.
I can't say I've watched a whole lot of Sessions, but to me, the only way signing him makes sense is if he could play significant minutes alongside Brooks. To all the people who have watched him play more than I have, is Sessions guarding SG's realistic? I know he's got good size for a PG...
thats true but Sessions can also play off the ball effectively. He played off-guard next to Luke Ridnour in Milwaukee pretty well when he did it.
