Ultimately, Eddie Griffin is our power forward of the future. They aren't going to commit big sums of money to KT UNLESS they decide to move Mo Taylor. If they decide to keep Mo T, at worst they keep a low-paid, quality backup until next season and allow him to sign elswhere or work a sign-and-trade then. Having three guys competing for a spot is a good thing, IMO.
I agree with that last assessment I must however also point out that we don't know if KT will ever be the player that he was this year again. Also even if he is he won't get the chance to show it, I say that he should start the season as the starter (he probably will from what I understand). If such is the case his value will be much greater in a trade, sorry if I'm repeating this but does anyone know if this is how it will go down with one of our power forwards potentially being gone around December?
