  1. Yes - we could've kept some assets to try to get a third star or looked at Butler or P.G

Lou was not good here. Easily our worst defender and shot like 40% from the field.

Yeah, with OKC closing in on the 1st seed, they probably got the better value.

Only one I wanted to keep was Dekker. He is a very good roleplayer. Its unfortunate we had to throw so many players in the trade just to make the money work

Dekker was trash. I never understood the hype behind him

That's a lot of spare parts.

Trez is better than Tarik, can learn from Nene here. And if Trez can focus more on rebounds, there'd be no need to play Tarik at all.

Also agree, Lou Williams would've been huge to keep. If he can't play D, he at least can put the ball in the hole.

Also agree, w/ CP getting injured so often, role players and backups are good to have. We lost most of it and now our short rotation is going to die before we get to the playoffs.

Exactly. I'm 100% sure we win that OKC game with Lou. Teams have to respect Lou while he's on the floor. Even if he's having a off night, he can still get hot at any time. The problem is he's too good to play 3rd string pg for us. Theres no way he's happy playing behind Harden & CP. I'm happy with Weber but I think he still needs to develop

According to Morey, we had no choice in the matter because we need to free up cap space. And for those who said, why not just trade Anderson. It's because no one wants Anderson's shitty contract.

As long as we add a player or 2 we are fine. Lou Williams would be unbelievable right now with EG starting tho

I just don't see how we are gonna add 2 more players.

It seems it's impossible to shed Rynos contract without losing EG or Luc or PJ. If we have to lose the both of them, we need PG plus some rotation-worthy role players. Do we have a way to get such a deal done? I mean, I'd bet heavily against it.

I still trust in Morey, I just am frustrated losing games against teams I know we can beat.

I mean at this point we need just some guys that are serviceable. Some guys seem to have a resurgence when playing for a contender. Our team has a perfect balance of players when healthy but when Gordon moves to the starting lineup we really suffer scoring from the bench. Hope we can get healthy and get a couple buy out dudes or make a small trade

Yeah, hopefully teams will make mistakes and Rockets can swoop in on some deals.

Ignore the we just had a gave up a first comment, that’s a what the thread is about not that any of the players are better than Cp3 but what we gave up.

So guess Morey was dumb for giving up a first for him and trading him a few months later ?
