    Think LONGTERM. Not one game.

Shaq didn't do crap against Yao when they were playing each other 1 on 1...No we didn't collapse on him much either. They virtually shut each other out for most of the game.

Most of Shaq's points was not over Yao as the defender because Yao was in foul trouble early. I admit Shaq played good D against Yao though with all of the little pushing and holding he gets away with.

Shaq just made Yao focus defensively and wore him out to have any energy on the offensive end. He does that to everyone.

The best way to put it is:

If Shaq and Yao have the same contract, both unprotected in the expansion draft, who would the Bobcats pick?

    Definitely Yao.

    You kidding???

If Shaq and Yao had the same contract, every GM will pick Shaq if he is not crazy.

Put Shaq in the division where Bobcats will be in, assuming he takes the money Yao get, they can easily find another star and may have chance coming out of eastern conference in their first year in the league.

Again, think LONGTERM. Not one game. Look at age difference and potential. Shaq is the type of player that once he lose his athleticism, he will soon go downhill because he's not fundamentally sound. He's going downhill soon man. If you compare him this year and last year, there's a noticable difference in his game.
