    oops forgot...

on our defense... I think we play too much man to man double team the ball pressure defense......

Yao is still out there trying to defend the PNR...

Ive always said that... if our guards can't keep up with the other teams guards on a PNR... then how do we expect our big men to be able too...

you watch guards on other teams fight to go under or over the pick...

with JVG's pressure defense... sure were forcing these guys to put up hurried shots... but then our guys are running around alot...and in the end still giving open looks....and come 4th quarter are guys have used up more energy then the other team.... lets pack the paint zone it out...and let them lauch 18+ footers... and live and die by that...

Against Phoenix, Snyder would have attacked the wide open lanes instead of shooting 3s.

The fundamental issue remains the same: When teams decide to take Yao out of the game with double/triple-teams, we must be able to punish them. Unless Tracy becomes more efficient, this will be a season long problem. I'll excuse him against Phoenix because of the injury, but in future games, he MUST take over when the opponent completely commits to stopping Yao.

Also, when teams focus most of their energy on Yao AND Tracy, we need to knock down shots. I don't care if they are 3 pointers or drives to the basket. One thing crystal clear is we don't have good enough shooters to just sit back and bomb away 3s. Maybe by season's end Novak will earn enough floor time to correct this. He has a ways to go.

I didn't see the Suns game at all so I can't form an opinion based on that.
But it was tougher to watch games last year and the year before where we were always starting slow and playing catch up in the second half.

Thats what i saw, although it would have hurt less if we lost by 20 and didnt make that run.
