Yeah ,he is making progress. With His growing data, I think maybe the manager will consider to trade him for a better and experienced PG next season
I hope this is a 2 steps forward-1 back thing for Brooks. He took 2 forward in the 1st 2 games, now he's taken 1 back. Hopefully he gets more steps forward after this. I didnt sense any Kyle Lowry bias in this thread, but since its been mentioned - The game 2 bad pass by Brooks that led to momentum changing Rudy Fernandez dunk, Lowry did the same exact thing in game 4 giving Brandon Roy a breakaway dunk off a bad pass. - Lowry and Brooks were both were 2-4 from the line (intentional miss for Lowry). But Lowry was 1-6 from the field to Brook's 1-5. - Lowry got more key hustle rebounds than Brooks. Brooks got 1 more point and an assist. No turnovers for Brooks, 3 steals for Lowry - No bias here because both of them sucked ass hard. Cant commend any of these guys cuz none of them did what a point guard is "supposed" to do. Lowry sucked slightly less ass when called upon. Brooks has outplayed Lowry for the series.
I think the difference is that Brooks had two trips to the line that could have iced the game and he went 1 for 2 both times. I agree that people are being too hard on him but he blew both chances where Lowry at least had a "perfect miss" to end the game. Side note: Game winning free throws are the only time I like seeing Ron with the ball in his hands on offense. His insane confidence level comes in handy in those situations.
