Yeah he will have another injury after that and another excuse whatever... the guy is a coward bottom line. ***Sarcasm i wanted to be the first to say something negative.
How do I feel? Exactly the way I did months ago: I don't care if it's his determination or tissue paper durability, if McGrady can't stay on the court and play like a star, he can't be our franchise guy. Pairing him with another star with serious durability issues is a mistake. Neither of them is suddenly going to become an annual 82-game guy. We need to give up this particular 2-star system. Now. Evan
He bumped it in game 3, and just reagravated the bruised tendon.....big deal. TMac is the KING of exageration to make himself look good. Until someone on the Rockets medical staff or their trainer says he may face surgery, I will choose to ignore Peter and his cries of wolf. Remember his torn elbow ligament....LOL ....or maybe the surgery he might need which was why he was avoiding the MRI.....yeah whatever Peter watch out for that big bad wolf ! DD
Yes, you've been saying he will have surgery but on his LEFT SHOULDER. His knee wasn't an issue in the first three games of the series. He suffered a contusion on his knee in game 3 per Worrell. How does it make me feel? Sorry him that he hurt his knee again. However two words come to mind when reading the article: Damage Control.
This is not the time to complain about injuries! The team needs T-mac to win Game 5! Today could be the last game you will see T-mac in the rockets uniform!
You go DaDa...the voice of reason. I was sitting at my computer terrified that injuries would send the Rockets back to the Lottery for more glue. Glad you've set me straight...I fear no more. 82 games for BOTH stars next season. We all believe.
This guy has been injury prone for the past three seasons and he's not even 30!!! So goes with Yao Ming! A great player is useless when he's not playing. Is it the water in Houston or does Rockets management have a terrible eye in spotting great players that are durable?
Is the guy's knee responsible for the breakdown of the offense? Is his knee responsible for the stupid quotes in the press about Landry and Adelman?
The T-Mac media guide 1. Pregame - lower expectations by complaining about some injury or saying how worn out you are by the season 2. During game - shoot jump shots. mostly miss. look angry if your teammates make mistakes. give up on the play if you make a mistake. 3. Post game - if you lose. blame it on injury, coach, and teammates. if you win, tell the world how you imposed your will on the game and your great and the best ever.
Lol so fans complaint about T-mac playing with "minor injuries" and calling him a non-leader. Now, he finally revealed his condition, much like Yao, and fans are getting angry over it? Damn come on, give the guy a break. He isn't Michael Jordan. He is playing with many of you guy's expectation already. Have heart and continuing playing despite Yao's injury, and don't let injuries stop you from playing basketball. He fulfilled these important expectations, lets give him a break. I'm tired of seeing t-mac threads in clutch bbs anyways. He may not have the mentality of the greatest players, but he isn't of those washed up players who give up like marbury.
you guys are pathetic honestly pathetic do you know english comprehension? Justice of all people has CLEARLY SAID he only talked about his knee WHEN ASKED ABOUT IT Guess what he wouldn't have said diddly squat if noone bothered to ask him about it. I haven't heard him talk about his knee after game 3, after game 4 at all. He could have busted it out instead of the Mutombo comment. He could have already said it. His only responding to a question. Last time I checked Allen Iverson was saying his finger hurts cause he broke it. Guess what he didn't go weh weh weh my finger is broken thats why I can't shoot out of no where either. Its clear that someone has asked him about his knee and his just told the truth. Want to punish a guy for speaking the truth? Good job, great bunch of people you are. Congratulations. Learn some english before you go oh look his having a cry again.
"Clutchfans" of this forum are done for. Not 'Rocket fans" No offense to Clutch BBS here but alot of posters here really are ermmmmm idiots. But at least it hasn't turned to an espn forum yet
The problem is he was asked. And he didn't make an excuse for it, he just told them it was an injury. He didn't say he can't play at all, he is only saying his efficiency would go down a bit. By the way let me emphasize, he was asked. You have no idea how much hate would be generated if he goes down with an injury without anyone knowing before hand that he was injured. And he wasn't planning to tell anyone anyways if he wasn't asked. Honestly the McGrady hate is so high lately its impossible to distinguish whether we're in the Rocket's forum or the Jazz forum.
I watched the video, he was asked about the wrapping on the knee, and instead of saying "I got it bumped, no bid deal" Tmac implied that he might need surgery, and that it was the same as it was earlier in the year, but that he was going to play anyway. Don't sugar coat it......yes he was asked, but he took it further......why? To make himself look good. People are on to his nonsense.......usually I ignore it, but this is so blatently a CYA type of deal.....whether he was asked or not. DD
FRICKEN EXACTLY !!!! I wonder if DWill is talking about surgery or MRIs......with his injured hip, or maybe it is stopping him from driving in the 4th quarter. No? Well why not? DD
