Just to back up Nugzfan's point, I'm sure that the Blazers (for example) would be willing to trade something like Dale Davis, Erick Barkley, and a future #1 for LaFrentz + cap fodder in a second. Not that this is that great of a deal for Denver either, but at least it gives them another guy who can play center alongside McDyess and a pretty good looking young player as well - and I can think of a lot more scenarios...

 

While your thinking, how about remembering the salary cap? Davis and Barkley make over twice as much as LaFrentz.

I don't know about you, but I never regarded $4M of salary as "cap fodder". Unless you think Portland has an interest in Calbert Cheaney & Alek Radojevic.

 

exactly! that deal is 1000 times better than any proposed deal here. and thats just one of the other 27 teams. like i said, deals like this can come up like crazy. and wed defintely take this over SA/KT/collier/picks. im glad some rocket fans are finally seeing my point. thank you.
