Don't know if it's been posted already, but just felt like bringing up some Novak love. He's getting plenty of minutes in LA and I just like seeing a guy with a lot of potential finally getting minutes.
I think that Clippers' Coach Mike Dunlevy is just playing him more to see what he's made of and give him a chance to develop since the Clippers are lottery bound. What he went with to start the season with wound up not working out so well.
one thing is for sure about Novak he can really shoot the ball, so its no surprise he's been scoring well the month of January.
never liked the DM trade of novak for nothing in return. everybody says he cant play defense. well, so does the rest of the rockets nowadays.
didnt we get a protected trade? i thought it was if they do better then us (not close) we keep our 2nd round but other then that I thought it was a 2nd round swap
You would have thought that he fit into Rick Adelman's offense. Sure, his defense is bad...well...putrid really....but he can really shoot it. Nice to see him getting some run. DD
giving up novak was a mistake. people say he can't defend and he adds nothing besides shooting. that's right. but we're talking about a cheap role player here. novak is a situational player. and that is the key. when you look for a good role player specialists with good contracts are the ones you want on your team because when there's a situation where you put them on the floor you can be sure of what to expect of them. a really good specialist is always a way better role player than some so called talents that are good allrounders but have no real strengths.
