It occurs to me that the nickname doesn't necessarily have to have any special meaning. I mean, T-Mac? That's just an abbreviation of his name. Instead of racking our brains trying to think of something clever ... why not not go with something simple. "Stevak." Simple.
Ok I think we missed a gimme on this one. Steve "Zeus" Novak because he is the God of Rain. GAME OVER
well, I like the spirit of getting behind this guy since he's shooting so well, and coming up with a nickname seems like a good idea...until you read the list. I didn't vote on the last list because they seemed wrong, contrived, or just bad.... and the "winning" finalist choices are not that enticing, though better than most of what else was on the list. That said, I dont' have much else to offer... besides suggesting we take a fresh approach and come up with something better than these two, because those dogs don't hunt. I'm not saying these are better, but just trying to offer something different... The Marksman? The Terminator? MasterBlaster? The Howitzer? Mojo? ThreeJack? HitMan TripleJack Didn't someone suggest Three mac? That's kinda funny... and at least relates to the team, something other than just him shooting well. I don't know... just throwing something different out there.... maybe just to cleanse the pallete and move another direction. I have to admit, I thought "Threevie" was kinda funny and liked it better than Supernovacainiac or whatever... but it doesn't have to be tied to his real name, does it? how about Steve "The Maniac" Novak, or am I wasting more time here by digressing? Just not impressed with the choices, nothing personal, I'm not saying its easy. Maybe just shooting the three well isn't enough, and we'll need an event, achievement, or happening to name him properly.... maybe if he goes and wins two games in a row with game winning threes that put us over the 100 point mark and we can call him Back To Back Novak, or Big Mac novak... who knows. Back to Back Big Mac 3 Point attack Novak. Maybe just chanting "Novak Novak Novak" would be a good start... though the more I think about it, "Three-Mac" is kinda cool... makes sense, is kinda funny, and gravy trains on T-mac... who supported him vocally.
