I agree. It would probably be running away with this poll right about now, if for no other reason than the fact that a lot of people (myself included) haven't even voted yet because these names suck so bad.
1. These names suck. 2. Can't believe how many people actually voted. 3. This guy hasn't proven enough to earn a nickname. Lets see what he can do in the regular season when defenses tighten up before we give this bench player a nickname.

I went with supernova. Novakane sounds like someone that would be signed to Master Ps No Limit Records. but I agree, the bomber is a better name.
Well looks like Supernova edged out in the final voting. Though with how close it was, and a chorus of dissenting voices, I guess we'll have to nix this whole official nickname business. Too bad. I was kind of hoping that one of these names would catch on and get spread to the media (maybe it still can during the course of the year). That would have been pretty cool. I guess we'll stick with whatever dang nickname you want for now. And maybe revisit this in the future.
