Do you guys think Byron Scott will be back next season or will they use him as a scapegoat? Or will he just look elsewhere for employment?
I would think that the Hornets will do whatever it takes to keep Chris Paul. I personally don't think it's Byron's fault; they need better players around CP3.
I agree. I think most people think Scott is at least a pretty good coach. I'm watching the Lakers game and they were talking about how Scott didn't get an extension yet. That got me to thinking about what their front office will do if the Hornets have a really bad season. Coaches often end up being scapegoats even when they don't deserve it.
Byron Scott is definitely a goner IMO. Their performance against the Nuggets in the playoffs was pathetic, especially that historic 58-point loss at home in game 4. If that isn't an example of a team quitting, try to give me a better one. About the only way they can win is for CP3 to completely dominate the game and he's only willing to do that on occasion. When it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck and has feathers like a duck, it's a duck. Scott is a lame duck who will be a roast duck.
