as for jl3's play, this is a sample size of one game. i've never seen him play so poorly on the offensive end. mark my words, he is a damn good shooter and just had one off night and won't do it again for quite some time.

You seem to have short/selective memory, the sample size is way bigger than one:

    11/29 @Phe: 8 min, 0-2 fg (0-2 3p), 0 ast
    12/2 Cle: 5 min, 0-3 fg (0-2 3p), 0 ast
    12/8 @Cha: 6 min, 0-3 fg (0-1 3p), 0 ast
    12/15 @Lal: 6 min, 0-2 fg (0-1 3p), 0 ast
    12/23 Lac: 9 min, 1-3 fg, 0 ast
    12/26 @Ind: 3 min, 0-1 fg, 0 ast
    12/29 Atl: 15 min, 1-3 fg
    1/5 Uth, 4 min, 1-4 fg (0-1 3p), 0 ast
    1/7 @Min, 22 min, 1 ast
    1/8 @Chi, 7 min, 0-1 fg, 1 to, 1 ast
    1/13 @Sac, 7 min, 0-3 fg, 1 to, 0 ast
    1/17 Pho, 20 min, 3-13 fg (1-6 3p), 1 ast

The midget is a cancer to this Rockets team. There is no other way to describe it.

I'm proud of the effort the team made in these two losses. If we were healthy, I think we take both games. Heck, if we had more depth, we might have won one or both of them.

Having said that, I keep thinking of a scene in Pulp Fiction between Butch and Marsellus Wallace.

[Marcellus is telling Butch to take a dive]
Marsellus: The night of the fight, you may feel a slight sting. That's pride ****ing with you. **** pride. Pride only hurts, it never helps.

Pride is cool. Like I said, I'm proud of the team for the effort. I'd rather have the wins.

We have our flaws, but I love this team's desire to win. Up and down the bench our guys seem to have a good work ethic (well maybe not Bonzi, but that topic has many other threads already). Anyway guys be proud of our team. It's been sometime since we've had a team so enjoyable to watch.
