Anybody have any idea what our record looks like with Yao, TMac, and Rafer all three in the lineup together? I bet it's even better than just Yao, TMac. Rafer is the 3rd biggest difference maker on this team.
dug the "oh and 13" or knock knock... who's there... "owen, thirteen"... danny ainge's son's reference. nice stats.
How long until the Chronicle rips you off clutch and mentions this same thing? This is GREAT reporting...not good...GREAT !! Love the article and thoughts. Well done !! DD
Clutch's article states that the Rockets are 15-7 with Yao and T-Mac so of course that figure 0-13 doesn't apply completely to them. 8 of those losses were in November when T-Mac went down the first time with knee tendinitis and came back too early and had to go back out again. 4 more came in January with Yao out with his toe injury and in his first game back. they haven't played many strong teams at all with both of them relatively healthy.
The 0-13 number is the Rockets in any game that applies, not just when Yao/T-Mac play. The record is against Western Conference opponents above .500 and the Lakers, at the time of the article, are at .500 (25-25). Looks like they will beat Utah tonight to push them over .500. Thanks for the compliments DaDakota
Great stats. Let the Chronicles rip off Clutch and the free agents from everywhere would want to play with Yao and T-Mac. "If Wesley can shoot, so can you!"
this is a list of the teams the rockets have beaten in those 16 games Sacramento twice New York twice Seattle twice Atlanta Boston Golden STate Philly Utah Portland Minnesota New Jersey Milwaukee I honestly couldn't find the sixteenth team. While they have played well with those two in the lineup the best teams they've beaten are New Jersey and Milwaukee and maybe the sixteenth unknown.
not on the list: detroit, Spurs, suns, Heat, dallas. now that's what worries me. cause if you have seen the march schedule..oh boy.
Well the hope always was that with the February schedule we would get hot enough to do some serious damage in March ... setting the stage for us to make an unexpected playoff splash. That's why all these past games were must-wins -- we really need to carry some momentum and confidence into March to face up with those teams.
the rockets haven't even beaten memphis. they are really lucky this is a down year for the west, because with all that said they still have a shot to make the playoffs if they get hot.
