    :Side Note:

What is in the water in Ohio? How do they produce these studs in 5 and NY does not have one in 20 years?

Why? Maybe he'll be content in life with $8 million instead of $12 million. Why does someone have to make maximizing their wealth their only goal in life? Or maybe his goal in life isn't to be a top level NBA player?

Bill Gates must be an idiot for giving away all that money to charity. I mean, he could have $70 billion instead of $50!

Bill Gates also still works rather than just retiring and dedicating all of his time and energy to charity and leisure. Bad example.

Also, where are you getting your figures from? (the 8 mil and 12 mil?)

He could have used them billions to buy another company or make more money. Computers are his leisure. His passion is building the largest company even bigger and moving into new industries. Some people love a challenge. It's like when Michael went to baseball, and when he came back from retirement to make very little cash.

Retirement is not for everybody. People come out of retirement out of plain boredom. Like a retired engineer that bought a barbershop, so that he could talk all day and not be bored. Or a young airline mechanic that bought a barbershop and makes less money but enjoys the talk also.

Anyways, his father is apparently ignorant to the millions of dollars that his kid is pushing aside for another year of college. Father should be slapped as bad as the son. ;)

    Different strokes for different folks.

Noah's still going to be playing basketball, both short and long term. The numbers are just made up. The post I was responding to was in reference to him losing $2 million or more - so I picked $4 million less. The #1 overall pick gets about $12 million guaranteed money.

if it helps the Rockets, I'd advocate smoking crack and bestiality.
