He has a good motor, plays okay on ball defense, is good in transition, and i dont mind taking regular season chances like that while we find what works. But yeah, tonight reminded us that bargain bin signings are singles or doubles, not homeruns.
the sad thing is that none of those players are good options either...that’s how bad our wing rotation is none of these guys would come close to starting on a top team
Valid question. I do not see the value in starting him at all. His stats indicate he should be coming off the bench. https://www.espn.com/nba/team/stats/_/name/hou/houston-rockets
The funny thing is, we have 10 guys 6'3-6'6 (not counting Harden and Wall) on our roster. And Nwaba gets the starting job.
For defensive purposes. But the spacing in our offense is so trash. We’d be probably be better off with Mclemore starting. At least at that point we’d might put up a fight. Tucker needs to be benched as well. We have serious personnel problems lol. Stone needs to get to work.
This is not a HARDEN or WALL problem. This is a PURE COACHING decision and I cannot help but wonder . .. . WHAT IS IT THAT SILAS is seeing that we are not Rocket River
Who else would start? Tate: he is our backup big. So can't be him BMac. 1 dimensional shooter, at least Nwaba tries on both ends Brown: yuck EGo: really? Starting? Looks more like he is on his way to the CBA... Who else is there?
It really doesn’t matter how good Nwaba is at defense when Wood is such an awful rim protector, and PJ is such a poor scorer. Nwaba is a big reason why the Rockets get off to such poor starts.
lol, and people question why Harden wants out a 6’4 undrafted rookie is a big for us with House out, Mac might be the best option to start just to provide some sort of spacing a starting lineup of Wall, Harden, Nwaba, PJ, and Wood has zero spacing teams aren’t concerned with Wall, Nwaba, or Wood’s jumpers, and teams will gladly leave PJ because he doesn’t even shoot that many shots anyways...he’s not hurting u offensively
It just looks like, what a rookie head coach would do. Experiment, tinker, put in an energy guy on a low energy team. Until he finds what works. No knock on Silas. Or even Nwaba. Just this is not a situation where feeling things out with new concepts & new players is good for continuity.
PnR - Guard the Roll . . .. . OH wair. . . they didn't roll . .THEY WENT TO THE FRICKING 3 pt linE!!!! So double harden in the lane!! Rocket River
