Jeff im just saying I bet guys ask her to meet all the time.. to be different you might want to keep chatting and talking on the phone and if she wants to meet she will bring it up. I know we as men get impatient but something to think about. J
As long as she still wants to keep talking on the phone or email, which I assume she does, then she hasn't totally written you off. She might just want to take more time before meeting in person. I don't know how long this has gone on or anything, but in my experience guys tend to want to move faster in any kind of relationships than women do. They always seem to be way "ahead" (in terms of being attracted, wanting to do something about it, getting sick of it, whatever) while I'm still trying to figure out what's going on and how I feel about it. It may just be the nature of men vs. women. Wait a little while and then invite her to something low-key. I would normally say something involving a group of people is a good way to take the pressure off of being alone together. (of course, assuming you don't have crazy friends that would scare her, or anything like that)
j/k one of two things... 1. send her the link to this thread just telling her to check it out or something. she'll know that you're interested, she'll see what other's that have met you in person think about you, and she'll know you're a rox fan. 2. quit being a wuss and just say how about a bagel or and some coffee at brazil.
I concur which is why personally I think its a bad idea to steer her here to Clutch BBS for character witnesses. While most of us will vouch for ya Jeff she'll also be subject to things like "You kick Ass!", 'Send us a pic!", "Dammit you're Isabel don't try to lie!" and of course "Sura Faints.."
Just an update... I spoke with her via email today. She mentioned twice that she had the weekend off and asked what I was doing. So, we are meeting for lunch. She did say that she was somewhat cautious for safety - I totally get that - but that she wasn't worried. Anyway, good news. I'll let you guys know how it goes. No pictures. Sick freaks!
