Maybe I'm fueled up by revenge movies but offhand I'd think it depends on the severity of the crime. Guilt from the murder seemed to wreck him up though if he confessed to a neighbo, then to the police after they brought him in. One might feel justified in it but it's up to reach person on whether they can handle memories of smashing a human being's head with a cinder block then stabbing that downed person multiple times. Also, the fact that no one bothered to find the sex trafficker for a year makes me think everyone involved lived near society's armpit. Hug your kids but not tight enough for them to be eaten up by the world, I guess.
For sure I would but are blaming the victim in this case? It's her fault that she's insecure enough to be put in this situation?
Maybe because you can't be her dad from jail? Maybe because it's that kind of selfish and shortsighted behavior that precluded you from being a good enough father to keep her out of that situation in the first place? Not you personally, of course.
It's not about blaming the victim, it's about figuring out whether you should murder someone. Usually extrajudicial killing is something reserved for banana republics. Look, I don't blame the guy for wanting to kill the scumbag, but he still has to face the law for doing so. Just seems that he should give the legal system a chance before deciding to become a vigilante out for revenge.
