This rocket team is clearly not ready. No emotional maturity. Too easily rattled and don't understand taut every aspect of the game counts. And yes that means free throws.
You're not going to win a single game if every five minutes if you let the other team go on 18-4 and 14-2 runs in quick succession. Not as hurt this time around. Sucks we are down and out but we were the clear underdogs here. Clippers just have a better team.
That's because this team plays like a college team that goes on runs and gives away runs and their college-level coach isn't helping either.
Need more muscle inside to help Dwight. He can't do it all. I'm not really upset, it was a good year. Gonna start reading up on this years draft and free agents.
Nope, not a chance - they need leadership from the bench and on the floor. Harden and Howard are not leaders - Harden has a chance to become one, but he has to stop whining so much and just get it done. Howard is simply an undisciplined guy who has gotten by on his amazing athleticism, but is not a winner. If you have Howard you need a strong coach like Stan Van Gundy, someone to hold him accountable....we don't have that. DD
no, they just need better role players. instead of 37 year old point guards and below average power forwards.
I've been saying this team needs a leader. We lose our composure too easily. I was called a hater for criticizing our team and wanting them to improve.
I just don't get it. I didn't play basketball, but I was a nationally ranked tennis player. During a match I wanted to light a fire, not think of the fun in the game.
It depends on how you propose it. If you think we should trade Harden/Howard, then I understand why. They may be mentally weak, but you can't drop your star players like that and expect that other stars will want to come.
All I said was that Harden was not a strong enough vocal leader of this team. McHale wasn't doing his job as a head coach to stabilize the ship when we lose our composure. Howard is my pick as the vocal leader but he has deferred to Harden, saying Harden is the leader of this team. I never suggested we trade Harden or Howard. They are franchise players that you don't give up easily. All I suggested is that someone needs to step up as that leader. I was still called a hater and given numerous articles detailing Harden's emergence as leader of this team, but that certainly hasn't shown as much during these playoffs.
