The bottom line is, some people deal with situations differently than others, regardless of how much money you make. Seven deaths in seven seasons is a lot for anybody to go through. I dont know what he's going through now but the man isnt a machine. Having persistant physical problems along with something weighing on you mentally can really test you.

did you read the article? his cousins wasn't just some kids he saw at reunions. they were close friends he grew up with. the deaths also included his stepmother and his best friend. not people that aren't real to him or that he wouldn't miss if they fell off the face of the earth. life does go on, but for most people it isn't losing a loved one every year.

with MILLIONS, with MILLIONS, with MILLIONS....what the hell? There are some things in life money can't buy, my friend. Tracy McGrady is still a human being. Money can't buy health and happiness.

I'll be the first to admit my performance at my job suffers when I'm having personal issues, and that the health and stability of my family is a far higher priority in my life than any one day on the job. It sucks that our favorite group of entertainers don't perform at their peak level when distracted by personal issues, but it is not the first nor the last time this will happened.

Peace of mind starts by being at peace with God and accepting the will of God.
Some things we can't change and God is our only hope. I hope that T McG has God in his heart and asks for his help. If Tracy wanted us to know his problem he would have already shared it with us.

McGrady tends to be a drama queen. I mean really, one of those guys includes a guy he went to high school with. the cousins, he may have been close to, its hard to lose friends at a young age. but life goes on, seriously.

I ask this in all seriousness, you guys from divorced homes with a remarried father, how many of you are close to your stepmom. I have at least five friends who are from divorced homes with remarried fathers and not one is close to their stepmom.

some of ya'll make these guys out to be supermen, unhuman. give me a break, yes they are RICH and possess athletic talent we couldn't DREAM of possessing but they are still human. i read the orlando sent. article and it changed my view on tracy as a person. i never knew a whole a lot about tracy the person, just the ubber talented player.

the man has gone through a lot put yourself in the same position. do you think having a ton of money and being famous, makes up for losing people who are very close to you all the time? no, some of these people aren't family. but that doesn't mean they aren't like family to him. i've had non-family members die that hurt me and affected me more than family members who died. dealing with death, is different for every person. but the fact that he is still pushing through the pain, and playing regardless of the results, makes me appreciate him MORE. that shows his strength of character and will. yes he may have considering retiring at one point, but you really couldn't blame him with the magnitude of personal losses. sometimes after losing loved ones to death, you don't feel like doing things for a while that is NORMAL people. tracy is a human like everyone else. he has a big heart and cares for people that he grew up and loved, and losing them hurt him. damn, how is that a crime or wrong? get off his case. he's playing hard and playing through physical pain and emotional pain right now. wake up people and realize that this is a man who is still trying to give YOUR team wins everynight and get a championship, even though we have a 22-31 record.

Get real man. He's just a human being. We are all put together different emotionally. And things affect us differently. You all will feel pretty bad if you find out one of his kids was diagnosed with cancer or something like that. It's obvious that he wants his privacy. Why do we think that just because guys make $20 million a year, they don't want their privacy? I want mine. He has a right to his.

Nobody know what kind of personal issue he has. We all know he and Yao was cracking up smile big time when the Rocket were down like 40+ points on National TV. I think I do have an issue.

You're a documented Mcgrady hater, so please, put a sock in it, shut your pie-hole, and stop bumping your gums.

no you are being an insensitive jerk, who apparently either has no feelings or soul whatsoever, or hasn't lost anyone who meant a lot to them.

yes, everyone does have people in their family and friends die. death is enivatble, but it doesn't take away the fact that losing people close to you still hurts. if you can't understand that, then you are one of the coldest hearted people on the face of the earth.

I lost my grandfather last year, my last grand parent, and two years ago a lost a friend only a year older than me to drugs. does it affect my daily life, no. did it affect me then yes. do I sometimes think about, seldomly. but this is being listed as a reason for his poor play and that's pure bull ****.

Are you saying that any other human being on the face of the earth shouldn't be affected at all by tragedy? I thought that was exactly what made us human.
