Not giving a sense of entitlement to lowly-motivated players, good or bad?

How would you treat talented but unmotivated players?

  1. He has talent. Got to give him lots of minutes

Bump, since when I last posted this, many people felt TWill was a hungry, motivated player.

It's obvious right now that TWill doesn't really care. Now whether or not you believe that's Adelman's fault is immaterial. As of right now, do you think a coach should give in to his "demands" of playing meaningful minutes? Or does he deserve to sit and/or play garbage time until he falls in line?

It's funny how delusional Williams is. Have you seen how he tries to imitate LeBron's motions on his jump shot? He concentrates more on those motions than the actual shot itself, that's why he's he worst offensive player in the NBA.

He deserved a chance. If I were coach based on his play probably would have done much different than adelman. He had one very nice outlet pass and that's about it. As far as garbage time play last game I think I or one of my assistants have a short talk on the demeanor on court that night not penalize him but let him know if it happens again he wont even see garbage time.

I think he is just a bit youngand immature definitely motivated in speach no idea if his practice/offseason/training habits show motivation. Ill hold my judgement on him until after next season if there is one.
