That's the part that doesn't make sense. Corps members usually wear their uniforms throughout the day. And the uniforms aren't olive green and don't include shorts.
Sounds like a bunch of people spreading gossip/rumors and not knowing what they are talking about. I understand trying to be extra safe but come on.
why would you quote that post?, that is me saying sorry to Kam and 00rocketgirl, if that was a joke it wasnt funny...
I think I've seen a couple wear an olive green uniform before. It threw me off, but I'm positive I saw one in my class last week. Maybe if they plan on enlisting in the airforce afterwards? or are a senior? or have a rank? I don't know too much about corps stuff but I have seen a few olive green uniforms, just never paired with shorts.
just got the code maroon text. All Clear. Person with replica weapon identified. No danger. Resume normal activity.
Yeah, because we're so jealous that the University of Texas had a shooter running loose on their campus, that we decided to spread rumors and make everyone think we had problem children here as well. Makes zero sense.
someone on my facebook who had been on campus said "they just found out it was a fake gun. Either a Corps member's rifle or a Halloween costume, everyone's been saying."
Wow, I didn't think it was possible for someone not to understand that was a joke. Bravo, old chap, bravo; you proved me wrong.
The bus driver is a flipping r****d. I see corps guys with their weapons every single day. Hell, in the morning around the quad you see them screaming like maniacs while holding them. How in the hell do you mistake a corps guy in uniform with a "gunman"? Anyways, The last place a gunman wants to be is on the A&M campus. His ass would get shot down so fast.
