His jumper is EXTREMELY streaky. It could be improved upon a lot. That said, he is a VERY good perimeter defender, and I can totally see him becoming a Bruce Bowenesque role player.

I expect Wright to fall like a brick now. His draft hype was all based on the fact that he was an athletic T-mac clone. Well the pre-draft combine comes along and Wright tests out at less athletic than Francisco Garcia. And only average to below average for SGs. He's still a nice prospect, but all those mocks that have him going in the top 10 will probably have to be changed. I figure he's been in the mid-teens, or even fall into the twenties. I wanted him bad before too, but that was when I thought he was T-Mac Jr. with more polish than Gerald Green.

Hmmmm...that's the first workout negative I've heard about him. I missed that. Was is recently?

I'd just been going on his Aggie career and his glowing workout reports. That'd be unbelievable if he dropped to 24. Still an automatic pick there based on game performance, no?

It's all in this thread: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=97693

I doubt Wright will slip all the way down to #24, but his chances of being a top ten pick definitely took a hit.

I seriously doubt that GS would trade Pietrus for a cap space deal, because they see him as a future building block, even more than Dunleavy or Murphy. I could see them moving the draft pick, though, and it would be worth it for us to do it, IMHO.

    A Spoon/Ward trade for Fisher/#9.

But, look how much better the team did when they got Baron Davis. Geez. We'd have to get a draft pick to take him, and even though we were interested in him before, it was at a lower price, so they'd have to give us more than a trade of our #1s.
