Not a Joke: report says Kobe to play Blue Power Ranger

    Kobe Bryant, star guard of the Los Angeles Lakers, is lined up to play a children's super hero in the TV series "Power Rangers Relic Hunters," set to air in 2007, according to BenMaller.com mole the "sportsjunkie." Kobe is rumored for the role of the Blue Power Ranger in the project that is categorized as being in production. The Blue Ranger is often the comic relief guy, but in some cases is the serious member of the team.

    I'll bet the big monster villain is actually the physical manifestation of Kobe's ego, grown to a monstrous size by a combination of arrogance, overconfidence, and alien technology.

    This is obviously a hoax. Being a regular cast member on a TV show is a full-time job. It's impossible to do that and be an NBA player at the same time.
