Went to the rodeo to see Willie Nelson last week and parked in the 610 lot, which is of course where Astroworld used to be. It was totally surreal walking across that bridge over 610. The memories just came flowing back. Still remember being a kid and feeling that anticipation as you approached the entrance on that trolley.

I loved riding the Ganjala from one side of the park to the other for an little herbal refreshment.

Was just dropping my kids off at Fiesta Texas last week and telling them astroworld stories and how we would get a season pass and get dropped off to meet girls from other schools during the summer.

I can't believe they razed Astroworld for a 75 million dollar overflow parking lot.

    Thanks for posting..Lets see.
Dropped acid ..batman the escape baby. Stand on bridge when tidal wave hits your face on acid?Fun.

    Remember they had fright night?

Waterworld and astroworld had moments where could literally ride a ride over and over. It had periods of emptiness.it was awesome.

When it got empty would ride sky screamer over and over. Ive been to disney recently and its always hour wait per ride.

This girl I knew in high school claimed she stole thousands working at arcade giving change at astroworld. Had friends that stole from stores there juvenile deliquent types. They went to astroworld jail at one point.

They would get fairly decent music acts.
    No mention of looping starship.
