My uncle retired as a Major after being in the service for over 20 years, fighting in WW-2 and Korea. He was and is a patriot who fought because his country asked him to, and I'm sure the Chinese soldiers invading Korea thought of themselves as patriots doing what their country asked of them. South Korea is free to make decisions about it's future because of people like my uncle and the others who fought for their country and for the other countries there as members of the United Nations.

It wasn't meaningless to him OR South Korea. Governments make the decisions that can lead to war and sometimes to their own destruction. North Korea, South Korea, the PRC and our own government should reflect upon that. I hope they make the right choices.

I wish I had more confidence in OUR government to make the right choices. If it doesn't, we're free to vote it out of office. So is South Korea. So is Japan and Taiwan. The same cannot be said for the PRC or for North Korea.

I guess Deckard is the only other person who see's that these country's need to be taken out and not given any slack. If you let these country's keep on the same track they will be just as strong as us!!! Only they are run by Dictators

When you take things out what do you put in to replace it? I.O.U's from the cookie jar?

Sure I'd love to be in a party. As long as it's not in my house, and as long I don't have to pick things up when the music stops.

I agree with Dubya's people about this. War plus keeping S. Korea and Japan intact might not be likely....

They should have just worn a condom or invested in some birth controls pills and maybe they wouldn't have had this problem.
