This one hurts. My all time favorite Weekend Update anchor and it's not even close. His delivery was so dry that it always took the audience a few seconds to get the punchline. Like someone else said, his style definitely influenced my sense of humor. He was definitely right when he said a good joke should catch everyone by surprise. So true.... You know who would definitely agree with me? You guessed it.... Spoiler Frank Stallone. RIP Norm.
Norm Macdonald is one of the greatest comedians of all time. There was no one like him and he deserved more credit than he ever got. Truly under appreciated in his time. So sad right now. We’ll miss you Norm.
When i was 10, there was a steady stream of super famous people from 30 to 40 years previous that I'd never heard of that died and it flew right past me. First one i can vaguely remember was John Belushi's OD in 1982, but mixed in in a steady stream all around that time were big names that just didn't mean anything to me. Forty years later, it's the same constant stream, but it all people i grew up following and every name hits hard. Hopefuly in the coming decades we'll transition to TicToc celebs and members of BTS that are dying and it will all start flying right past me again. RIP, you grumpy b*stard
I liked Norm Macdonald, a consistently funny talent on the show. Too young for these folks lately, Rest in Peace.
Wow. Saw "Latest: Norm Macdonald ..." on the main forum page and feared the worst as I clicked. Sad news.
