NOOOOOO! Lesnar pulls out of UFC 106 due to illness

He was too sick to fight but healthy enough to make an appearance at the Vikings game on 10/18. Something fishy going on.....

The only thing I can think of is that you can be sick and not enough time to recouperate and train for an MMA fight. I don't think he needed to be in peak condition to wave at people from the sidelines of a game.

 

I swear that's the first thing I thought of.

 

While that is true, why did he wait a whole week to delay the fight? If he was really serious about trying to get into fighting shape, he should have been training and not hanging out at a football game. It looks like he decided to delay the fight much earlier than when he made an official announcement.
