Not really, slingbox lets you watch whatever is on your tv from some other device (computer, blackberry), this just turns your tv into a monitor for your computer without having to run a cable to it. This by itself doesn't seem that big, but it sounds like there will be more to it that is announced next year.
iTunes 7 is pretty cool. It's better looking and has some cool little features such as automatic downloading of cover art for music you import. The best feature by far though is that it eliminates the gaps between songs, about time, I've been whining about that since the 1G iPod.
I like the iTV concept (we'll see how it works in practice). Having purchased several shows on iTunes, I've been wanting a way to easily play those purchased shows on my television. I assume that's the main purpose behind this. iTunes 7 seems to have some nice ease-of-use features, as well. Not anything groundbreaking, but some changes.
Alright, I've got to say it. Cover browsing in the new iTunes is the coolest thing I've ever seen on a computer.
