you mean by having possessions stolen from us and allowing the defense to do anything they wanted?

if game was fairly officiated, we win. if we shoot better, we win. if MDA did his job game 1 or 6, we already would've won the series. these are all factors

Dan tony is a glorified milk hair and if you say otherwise you're in denial.

Bravo for the talent on this team as loose cannon as it is to make this season so competitive. The Rockets are 95% talent 5% Bzdelik

    This is a stupid thread

11th greatest offense of all time.

Played arguably the most talented team of all time to 7.

Missing key player that shoots mid ranges shots.

the more optional ifs for a given outcome the more likely it is to take place. so if anything there's not enough ifs, not too many. i accept our fate too. you should also accept an understanding of what just happened

The win has to do with Warriors playing extremely good defense on guarding 3s. If the refs calling it blindly and Warriors hounding his 3s, the result is ugly. If we miss that many 3s, we don't deserve to win this game.

I think it's mental. There's no awareness out there of repeating what was working, or stopping what isn't, and we always see these runs that look like they are quitting. We need a player who can see what's going on and correct it. It's one thing to get beat, it's another to just stop doing what's working.

I love Harden, but I gotta say, restricting himself to only layups and threes limits his offensive effectiveness in the playoffs...it’s too predictable

he’s not a great 3 point shooter, but he’ll take 12, 13, and sometimes even 15 threes in a game even tho his shot isn’t falling...he missed 22 straight threes at 1 point in this series

he’s money from midrange, he needs to take advantage of it...14-15 Harden is still my favorite version of Harden and the 2015 playoffs is still easily his best playoff run IMO...look at these 2 games against GS...he mixed it up and took advantage of all areas of the court and was scoring against their vaunted defense with ease

So you think Harden would miss 22 mid range shots in a row ?

The system works when you have everyone clicking on all cylinders. That's why they brought in CP3. It's not Harden's fault that Chris went down with an injury.

That's what some people don't see and this is what Morey meant when he said they needed to up the risk profile last year--in order to beat a juggarnaut like the Warriors you need to be operating at peak performance all the time because there's no way to match them on talent.

Harden is great in the midrange. He and CP3 could dominate in that area, but I have been sad to see that area of his game disappearing more and more. Yes, layups, freethrows, and 3s, but they let CP3 get in the midrange. I think Harden needs to operate in there more option. Even though he had a great season shooting from 3, I think he takes way too many. Settles far too often, once he gets the ball back with the shot clock at 10 or less.

Dantoni is the problem, not James. He needs to step up and tell him where to attack.

Toni has the mindset that he’s the best iso player, let’s just let him do whatever he feels fit, oh and remember that we rather shoot threes too....

There are games I remember mostly last year but some this year where James would just live in the mid and some games where he never goes anymore...

We need a cold blooded three point shooter. Someone who can run around and hit a three from anywhere like a reddick or korver. I honestly wish they would have given jimmer fredette a shot to see how he could do in this offense. I’m sure he could have hit a three or two

D'Antoni needs to instill more movement in the offense, back cuts, give and gos, etc...take a page out of rick adelman. They did it in game 2 to perfection but have to develop that habbit. All in all it was great season, had CP3 not been injured the Rockets would have won game 7 easily. We had the intensity, the desire and execution in the first half, but it's hard for one player to carry a team versus 2 of the greatest shooters ever and 1 of the greatest scorers ever. Plus, the officiating was garbage. Too much to overcome.
