Thank you for your opinion, we should definitely get someone better than the 2 biggest rappers out right now. Super Bowl LI's Halftime Show should be Young Thug and Paul Wall.

    It won't be a non main-stream country/local act... and it likely won't be purely a hip-hop artist.

Its the Super Bowl... not the NBA all-star game.

Carrie Underwood/Taylor Swift far more likely than Drake.

Two biggest in terms of what? Collecting low IQ sheep?

Mainstream hip hop is such a joke these days.

Is Indie Rap the new Indie Rock?

    Lol, music snobs.

As I said in my initial post, it'll probably be something like Luke Bryan and The Weeknd, but only if MrBear1 is OK with it.

LOL. No not a music snob. I just feel like Drake, Future, etc have lyrics that are directed at sub 22 year old individuals.

Id like to see someone with more substance perform at Super Bowl.

Nobody gives a schit about Houston rappers. They're not players in the national scene, and they're not going to put on stage a bunch of idiots blabbing about drinking that syzzurp.

Yeah but when has that ever happened?

Last year we had Katy Perry coming to the stage on a giant lion/tiger thing and had dancing sharks, beach balls, and palm trees.

I'm calling Pitbull for sure next year.

I'd have to go with Adele. I'd like the biggest star that people will talk about and you know females will love to see. Adele pretty much destroys all singers right now. Guest appearance Justin Timberlake or Sam Smith.

Doubtful... SB performances typically are more upbeat and feature tons of visuals and incorporates the surroundings. Adele's ballads are a bad fit for the SB.

She would be the choice for the anthem if anything (then again, she's not from here... so probably would have zero interest in singing an anthem from another country).

If you go by the charts alone, we may be looking at Justin Bieber rocking the stage at halftime...

The fusion of Metallica and Hanson singing Titanium together. Special appearance by A-Ha. And take that to the bank.

More of a prediction than nomination but I think Rihanna is a great guess. Can't believe she hasn't done one already.

Maybe Flo Rida. Very safe pop music and upbeat. Don't know if Bieber hits enough of the demographic.

Timberlake is always a good guess to. Honestly don't see Adele agreeing to it, she seems too low-key for it.
