Key Performance Indicators for Nolan Ryan:

    ● Get Round Rock Express back
    ● Get Astros back to NL in division with Giants & Dodgers

    Get busy, son.

Those would be awesome! The second one is never going to happen, but I would love that.

Selig is the ahole responsible for the move to the AL when in reality it should have been his sorry Brewers that were forced back. The stros just let that bum treat them like their b!tch, just like when they made it to the WS and he made them close the roof or when the final deciding home game against the Cubs was held at a " neutral" site Milwaukee!!! Welcome back Nolan.

Yes, but the real "pressure" to even out the leagues came from the team owners (especially the Rangers).

The Rangers did not like having a disporportionate amount of west coast road games. They didn't like having to play more division games overall vs. what teams in other divisions get (since there were less teams in the AL west).

The fact that the Astros were up for sale made them the perfect patsy to appease the owners discontent.

The owners willingly giving millions to Crane to make it happen was telling. The Rangers definitely had the most to gain.

We could really use RR back (sooner the better), the TV deal in place, & to start the upswing.

Austin/SA are a battleground we need to win.

Yep. The TWC-Comcast merger (if it goes through, and if CSN is still on the air at that time) actually helps the Astros out a lot for those markets.

Of course, winning cures everything... as those markets could easily switch their allegiance back to the Astros once the team is good again (and by good I mean better than the Rangers).
