Really? Accusing a guy who came back in just weeks after getting shot? That franchise is such a joke.

Anybody who comes back to playing ball like a couple weeks after getting shot will never be a quitter in my book.

Seems to me unlikely he'd quit on the end of a contract year. He needs to prop up his value for the offseason. Still, I think y'all are probably giving Landry too much credit. Playing for a bad franchise can get you down and he might not be feeling quite the never-say-die verve he had in Houston. And, while he needs to perform to get his next contract, he also has to make sure not to aggravate any injuries. So, yeah he probably is playing it extra-cautious and sitting out when he would have played if his circumstances were different.

But, he's doing them a favor anyway. They're tanking.

Williams is probably on edge because he knows he isn't likely to be around in a month.

Landry was just a balla when he was playing for the Rockets. I dunno what the heck happened to him. I guess a combination of the Kings and Hornets does things to players.

We don't know what happens in that locker room.

Obviously when Landry was us, he was the ultimate warrior and professional.

But Monty is not judging Landry from his tenure here.

Why wouldn't he? IMO he is a good coach, but has a team without talent.

Landry is definitely not a quitter, smh Williams.
I hope we can get him back in Houston someday, so we can continue to watch the dynamic play of..... Carluis Scolandry! :)

More than likely they will have a new owner who wants to start from scratch (as anybody would with that team).

It's not classless. Coach and players want to win. It's frustrating when the season has been so bad. As an organization you want respect. It doesn't matter what the record is, you play to get better.

Wow really the hornets are accusing landry of quitting??? Unbelievable they told their best player (kaman) to basically go home and stay there and wait to be traded

I like Monty Williams a lot and I'm not willing to give Landry a lifetime pass of being faultless in matters like this just because he played again shortly after being shot 3 years ago.

My gut feeling is Williams is on the money but I question him going public.
