    Carl was there for the money only. You don't turn down $9 million for a year and you definitely try to save yourself for your next contract so you don't get hurt.

    Monty Williams is treating his players like assets!

    Seriously, though. Landry is about to get his last big check and Williams is b****ing about him not playing through an injury that's not only painful, but can easily be re-aggravated.

    I get where he is coming from, but that's probably not the way you want to go about it.

    One thing we know about landry is he's not a quitter. Guy got shot and still played. Guy got a tooth knocked out and still played. Monty can call him a lot of things, but being a quitter isn't one of them.

    He's not a quitter but he's probably quit on this season. And I don't blame him. Hornets aren't trying to win. Monty should aim his disgust at Stern for pulling the trigger on the season by nixing a trade that could have kept them competitive. Any players that quit on that team are simply following the example of their owner.

    we saw this dude lose countless teeth, and come in and battler for us in big games

    HE never complained about a contract.


    who the hell is Monty Williams.. some no name coach who is being exposed without CP3

    Yeh, b**** about the guy on the expiing contract... as many people on this board that constantly want us to tank, you'd think Williams would be happy with Landry sitting out as they jockey between the 2nd and 3rd pick...

    Classless comments on Williams part... imo

    I really hope Gordon tells them he's signing the qualifying offer and walking away after next season if they don't agree to work out a S&T for him now.
