Yeah it looks like Karl has thrown in the white towel ! Smith and Mello on the bench ! Might as well turn this one off and say goodbye to HCA !!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I was premature in that observation -- Denver, a typically great offensive team, has let both Anthony and Billups play 17 minutes. Somehow, they've each turned into John Starks and have shot a combined 3-of-18 and Denver has 34 points at the half. It's unreal.

Forget probabilities, forget common sense... if it's a big game and it can go against the Rockets, it usually does. I hate to keep b****ing, but it's just so ridiculous... I've never seen a franchise more due for one break, and they just can't get one, over and over again...

I figured Portland would give a strong effort. Maybe the NBA will announce the dates right after the game is over, or even before. The networks should have started cherry-picking games right after the Spurs game ended. It shouldn't take long to sort it all out.

You can always count on a nice tank job from the George Karl Nuggets. It cost us Brandon Roy years ago, and now it's going to cost us HCA against ... oh the irony ... the Brandon Roy-led Blazers.

Oh my God, how can I be rooting for Denver?

I'm from there. I hate the Nuggets. I hate their announcers.

All for the Rockets I guess... :)

Martin should be pulled. His effort has been awful all night.

I'm impressed with Melo. He is playing hard on both ends.

I love how Denver got just close enough to get the Rockets' hopes up, then falls apart. Could anything be more fitting?

Has there ever been a more blatant offensive goaltend than that? It's unreal. With the Rockets, it's Murphy's law... year after year after year.

denver isn't even remotely playing defensive. don't let a few plays here and there fool you.

WOW. what a turn around. From having the chance to be in 2nd place, to dropping to 5th....

    and no HCA. WOW.

Somewhere in Dallas Mark Cuban is laughing and having a great time knowing he destroyed our chances of getting the division title.
