    Coasting, I think they should want to win every game if they want homecourt in the finals if they get there. This team is soft. I think teams like the Rockets(yes, the rockets), Denver, and Utah will give their soft interior problems.

    Unless you're an all time great team, it's hard to play amazing basketball for 82 games as well as playoffs in a row. Look at the 67 win mavs, they overexerted themselves and ran out of gas. The celtics took 7 games to beat the 8th seed last year and didn't regain their groove until the ecf. The pistons faltered as well a few years back.

    It's not that they are coasting, it's Odom. He's played like a total dog recently, just like tonight. He is the #1 variable for the Lakers in the regular season and postseason. As he goes, so the Lakers will go. When Bynum initially went down, Odom rose to the occasion like a champ and the Lakers kept on trucking. His increased energy more than made up for the loss. But I knew he couldn't sustain it.

    If you call this coasting, OK. I say it's a specific problem that could haunt the Lakers after the 1st round.
