I love how we all always have to have something to be outraged by.

While it is concerning, these guys, sign up to literally potentially have to take a bullet for the president.

And this is nothing compared to high the multitude of crimes committed by his predecessor.

Also, why does the president always have to have a dog? I can't imagine these German shepherds do anything to enrich that old dude's life.

Don’t Blame the Dog. Blame Joe Biden.
The weird politics around Commander, the president’s ill-behaved German Shepherd.

    https://www.politico.com/news/magazine/2023/08/04/joe-biden-dog-problem-00109699

    excerpt:

Now, though, Commander is showing the limits of our canine politics. Loving their dog may show the Bidens’ just-folks tastes, and struggling with their dog’s behavior may even make them relatable. But having a dog that lives in a public mansion and gets to bite people again and again is evidence that they’re not really all that much like us, after all. If your public image is centered around being Middle-Class Joe, that’s not a great look.
I actually think this article is a metaphor for Hunter Biden.

    Get that b**** outta there!

Commander Biden bites another Secret Service agent, the 11th known incident

President Joe Biden’s younger dog, Commander, bit another US Secret Service agent at the White House Monday evening, CNN has learned, the 11th known biting incident involving the 2-year-old German Shepherd.

“Yesterday around 8 p.m., a Secret Service Uniformed Division police officer came in contact with a First Family pet and was bitten. The officer was treated by medical personnel on complex,” USSS chief of communications Anthony Guglielmi told CNN in a statement.

The injured officer spoke with Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle on Tuesday and is doing OK, Guglielmi said.

Commander has been involved in at least 11 biting incidents at the White House and in Delaware, according to CNN reporting and US Secret Service email correspondence, including a November 2022 incident where an officer was hospitalized after the dog clamped down on their arms and thighs.

White House officials said in July that the Bidens were working through new training and leashing protocols for the family pet following the incidents.

The office of the first lady did not immediately respond to CNN’s request for comment Tuesday on whether that training had taken place or if any further action would be sought.

Presidents don't HAVE TO have a dog. The Biden Presidency dogs have clearly been raised poorly because getting a dog is obviously just something on a checklist that Biden fam has to do. But it doesn't have to be this way. Just end this tradition, please.

The House should impeach Biden over this. Probably would be more credible at least.

The dog is a rescue dog and the biden folks have always adopted rescue dogs for nearly 30 years. It's funny how dumb people are then brush it off as their intelligent with a good take

Criminal Penalties for Owners of Dangerous Dogs
Dog owners could face fines or jail time for violating legal restrictions on keeping dangerous dogs. They may also be charged with serious crimes if their animals attack and severely injure people.

First - Joe Biden has had dogs most his life. You can tell he is a dog person. Having said that, he is 80 years old. He isn’t training a dog anything with his schedule and age.

Joe Biden should be embarrassed. The guy is the most powerful man in the most powerful country but he cannot even keep his down in check? He needs to send the dog to live with a trainer or something.

The real honest truth is that the dog should be put down. Dogs have been domesticated and those dogs that are pets that repeatedly bite people are a threat and need to be removed from the gene pool. Eleven times? That is simply unacceptable and the Biden’s should feel terrible having hurt so many people.

This is the prime example of the lack of common sense and virtue signaling bullshit world we live in now. Biden won’t put the dog down because PETA and “Fur parents” will throw a fit. However the proper response is obvious - the dog should be killed. This also ties into “shelter dogs”. Some are very good dogs, put some have been poorly bred and have had a lot of abuse and 99% of people are not equipped to handle these dogs - yet they still adopt them and it’s stupid.

I would hate the Bidens on a personal level if they were forced to destroy an animal they neglected. I'd be ok with "rehoming" provided the family genuinely wants to rehab the fur-felon.

Smells like something deeper if no one wants to be responsible for the pooch and are hands off with it, like a spoiled princess a king dotes on.

But who really cares about what's happening...git your dog poop off muh lawn!

I haven't seen any evidence that the Biden's neglected the dog. Indeed it is very unlikely, as there are numerous people supposedly taking care of the dog. The reality is that the dog came from a shelter, and we do not really know the history of the dog prior to being at a shelter. Some dogs are just prone to extreme violence, just like people. Dogs like that out number the number of truly acceptable homes. Very few people are trained and equipped to handle a dog that violent. I am a huge dog lover, and there are plenty of dogs out there that need homes and are not dangerous. A dog that has attacked 11 different people should be put down and removed from the gene pool.

It normally should, but it's the First Dog!

Get the Dog Whisperer on it or something...If the 1% can't rehab a serial biter, who can?!?

it’s also possible that the dog doesn’t have the temperament to be around tons of different people. In fact that’s a common characteristic of GSDs - they tend to be bond very strongly with immediate family and then be very territorial toward everyone else. They’re also a working breed that needs a job or an owner who can devote a lot of time creating activities that resemble a job. The Biden’s would have done better to adopt shelter dogs who were a bit lazier and more at ease with a revolving door of visitors (one of my 2 shelter dogs Leon is like this - he’s never met a stranger).

I do want to point out that the Axios report is unverified - I’ve read opposite reports (also unverified) that they only individuals who have had issues with the dogs are the Secret Service and that other people have had nothing but positive experiences with the dogs. So I think there are a few options left besides just having the dogs put down.
